If you are working on presents for the owner or an award scroll, it is suggested you
check with the owner or the heralds to see if the representation here is correct or
not. -- The Golem Herald

Note: This form is about SCROLLS -- if you
have concerns about missing awards, etc., please close this form
without sending, and use the "Populace" menu at the top of the page,
to select the appropriate item ...
Please Note: This form is not a way for you
to request a scroll be made. It is here only to allow us to track if
scrolls exist for these recognitions. If you wish to request a scroll, please close
this form, and click the blue "Scroll Information" button.
At the time that Mari stepped down as Princess of Cynagua in January of 2002, her name was in the process of being changed. Apparently, to avoid receiving new recognitions under her old (registered) name, she requested that the Crown of the West handle her Viscounty title. She waited until the name change was completed (June 2003) and requested that the Crown in October (who were also Cynaguan) grant her Viscounty title then.
See Mari's Viscounty for some detail. The Crystal Swan, normally granted at the time of the Viscounty, didn't get done due to the irregularity of how that was handled. once Mari realized that, she discussed it with the royalty noted here in Cynagua, and was granted the award for former Princesses (Consorts) of Cynagua officially at that time.
Note: there are recognitions that typically get scrolls, most of them are ones that
come with an Award of Arms, Grant of Arms or Patent of Arms. If there is no checkbox in the column
to the right, it means that the award does not fall in that category. Some awards which normally might
receive a scroll may not show the checkbox because the recognition comes from outside the West
(someone moved here, or was given an award from foreign royals, etc.). There are a variety of factors
involved.
If the scroll information is not correct, please click the email button above to send
information to the Golem Herald so that the data can be updated.
If you would like to find a scribe to create an award scroll for you, please visit the
website for the
West Kingdom Company of Scrivners & Limners
(use the 'Contact Us!' link on the top right, then try contacting either
the Guild Minister or appropriate Warden as you might feel appropriate).
If you are a scribe and wish to create a scroll for this individual, you should always
get in touch with that individual (or someone close to them) to get their preferences, and to see if
this has already been done by someone else, etc. It is a good idea to check their Who's Who
page for any scroll preferences, including if they have a note that says 'I don't need anyone to make me scrolls.'
The easiest way to get to their Who's Who page is to go to the top of this page and click the small green
'i' button next to their name.
If you can provide photos of scrolls, and they are not already on the
History of the Kingdom of the West(on the left side menu click 'Arts and Sciences' then 'Scribal Arts'),
the Kingdom Historian is always interested in receiving them. Please see information
on the history site (see 'Help', among other things) for how to contact the historian.
