In the renaissance, the pun really was considered a high art form. With this in mind, a sub-order was added to the Bitten Tongue. The Order of the Argent Tongue (sometimes called the Order of the Silver Tongue) will be awarded to those members of the main order whose puns are of such high quality that they are deemed worth of special notice.

The token for the order is a Leather Tongue Argent (white) with in base the sinister flank invected (a bite mark design taken out near the bottom) suspended from a Argent (white) ribbon.

Over the years we have lost track of the membership in this order.
