In the course of events when the Coronet Sovereign is unable to be in attendance, but the presence of Their sword must be felt by those who have caused contention, let it be the duty and privilege of the Secare Gladium to step forward and wield their blade for the Coronet Sovereign in Cut & Thrust matters as the Cut & Thrust Champion of Cynagua.

There will be a tournament held annually at Spring Coronet to decide the Secare Gladium of Cynagua. The lists will be restricted to authorized Cut & Thrust combatants.

The Secare Gladium may not succeed themselves.

The token for the Secare Gladium is a mantle in the colors of the Principality, emblazoned with the device of the Principality of Cynagua.
