Eilis is actively looking for a new Vesper, please reach out to her if interested.
Due to Vesper’s home location, please reach out to Moira of Kent for sealing of scrolls. Roster Letters went out recently, and will not be resent at this time. Vesper will notify Laurel of the change in office.
There is consideration under way to change the Heralds Collegium from April to September, more information to come.
Seawolf (Moira): Moira is in the last year of her term and is looking for a successor.
Sable Swan (Victoria): Sable Swan is looking for a successor, please contact her for more information. Please also feel free to introduce those to her who might be a good fit for the job.
Investiture is coming up and she is also working on the last set of edits for the Cyngauan Ceremony book. She is within budget for reprinting the four books for the Principality, once the edits are complete.
Stellanordica (Catriona): No report received.
Exchequer (Damir): Successor (Heinreich): Domesday Report is due this month. Otherwise, everything that was pending remains pending.
Matins (Edith): The submissions process continues to move through. A happy submissions month: all forms and fees were received prior to the meeting!
Baldric (training deputy): Vesper is running training as a College-wide program, not assigned to a specific individual at this time.
Brachet (vacant).
Green Cloak (Alizan): Green Cloak is seeking a successor, please contact Vesper.
Fall Crown happened, she had heralds. Special thanks to Yvonne for jumping in when a herald faltered. The Kingdom is in need of more voices, please encourage those interested to seek out heralds at and outside of events to seek training and work. Existing heralds, please volunteer to train anywhere and everywhere you can.
She is also seeking help for June Crown in Oertha, which she will not be attending. Vesper is aware and will assist.
Green Crown (Damir), Successor (Gillian): Coronation happened, reports will be entered.
Green Trumpet (Gwenhwyfaer): Over the course of 2023, Green Trumpet attended and provided service to the Crown and Populace of the West at the following events:March Crown, Beltane, June Crown, Purgatorio, October Crown. Green Crown was not at Twelfth Night due to ill health and exposure to plague.
Green Banner (Aasa): She continues to do online and in-person consultation. The Consultation Table was at Collegium in November and went really well. Aasa plans to take the Table with her to most events she attends.
She is looking into possibilities and prices for new bins that are easier to use. She would like to add a new book to the library, and will send in a written request to the Financial Committee.
Golem (Hirsch): The Golem Herald has had a fairly slow period this last couple of months. The job keeps going. There are always new court reports, and so on, but nothing special to report. He expects after 12th Night and moving toward tournament season things will pick up, of course.
As always, if you find something wrong on the Awards List or the Heralds’ website, he can’t fix it if no one tells him about it. Please feel free to point out any issues.
